OUR TEACHERS

All teachers at Montessori Children’s House II have been specifically trained in the Montessori Method of education and philosophy.

Each teacher has earned their Montessori certification and has also completed undergraduate studies in Early Childhood Education or related studies.  Our Assistants have been trained in the Montessori philosophy and have had several years of working in a Montessori school. 

It is mandatory for our teachers and assistants to complete 16 hours of professional development classes annually in addition to training required by the VA Department of Licensing.
